As a famous movie once said, You treat a disease, you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you, you'll win, no matter what the outcome. The profession of being a nurse hasnt changed that much through the years, only the books they use. Inter-personal skills, as it is called imply that one is talking to a person and not just a machine giving out information that can be read in a piece of paper. Doctors often do not have the personal level of connection that nurses have with patients and that is what makes nurses a very important part of healthcare.

Governments have also played their part in ensuring that these colleges and universities that provide such education is indeed fully capable of providing what the students need. At the end of the day, the nurse who provides us with the care we need is the end result of efforts from multiple sectors of our own communities. The nurse is the one that makes sure we get the proper treatment in the time that we need them and that is why they are a new breed of heroes, educated and trained to make sure we are always doing great.
