Nuyou Time Celebrates 10 Years With Double-cover Collectors Edition

, published by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd (SPH Magazines) plans to celebrate its tenth anniversary with an exclusive double-cover collectors edition.

Nuyou Time celebrates 10 years with a special double-cover collectors edition along with an art exhibition and 10 exclusive watch giveaways. The magazine, which features Zoe Tay on the cover, is designed by Theseus Chan. Theseus Chan is internationally-acclaimed Presidents Design Award winner, as well as, the founder of creative agency WORK. The medieval-inspired front and back covers of Nuyou Time also present highly complicated timepieces of French watchmaker and jeweller Cartier.

This is proved by the number of websites and magazines, which are dedicated to watches and timepieces. Singapores first Chinese watch annual, Nuyou Time, is created by Singapores number one Chinese magazine, Nuyou. The magazine is celebrating its 10th anniversary in a grand style with a sumptuous edition. It is Theseus Chan's mind behind the stunning concept of the twofold cover for the anniversary edition, which features Zoe Tay as both female and male versions of herself depicting timelessness along with the cross-gender fashion trends of present-day watch styles.

As part of the celebrations for the major anniversary, ten artists from Singapore and across the border were invited to illustrate the concept of time through their preferred art forms. Their stunning artworks were featured not only in the magazine but also in an exhibition at ION Art Gallery. The exhibition is titled 'Time, Through The Eyes of Art'. The works include images from visual artist, John Clang and his mentees Alecia Neo, Lavender Chang, Sam Kang Li, to a decent dish from Andre Chiang, who is the chef and founder of Restaurant Andre. It also encompasses fashion from Max Tan, ceramics from artist Wee Hong Ling and jewellery from Carolyn Kan of Carrie K. Other pieces were created by Hong Wai, who is Paris-based Macanese artist and illustrator and Melinda Looi, who is Malaysian fashion designer, as well as, the founder of Mellooi Creation.

Grace Lee is the editor-in-chief of Nuyou and Nuyou Time. His love for watches reflects in his thoughts that fine watches are not only tools to tell time. He thinks that watches are also wonderful works of art. He truly admires the beauty of craftsmanship and the intricate mechanical movements in a tiny watch case.
