. Moms of all types are one group who can take advantage of this opportunity. Some careers are rising fast, and getting a scholarship now can help get the education to meet those work needs. It should be no surprise that communications and technology are areas that are steadily rising in importance. So many of our daily tasks are made possible by digital, wireless and other technology. There are scores of people who work daily to research, develop, install and troubleshoot these technological tools. Various job market projections list computer software engineering as a hot job for the future. Two other well-regarded careers are network systems analysts and data communications analysts. Another area where there is anticipated job growth is healthcare. The careers in healthcare are much more varied than the traditional jobs with which people are familiar. Occupational and physical therapists are important as well as their assistants. Some analysts also think behavioral disorder counselors will be highly sought. There are several other fields besides counseling that don't necessarily require a medical degree to practice. Many trusted resources expect plenty of job opportunities in the future although there may be more months of few possibilities before then. Jobs for qualified financial planners and advisors for businesses, government and individuals will likely be significant. All of the jobs in these growing areas will require the proper education. There are many programs available for people willing to learn, especially for moms. In 2009, President Obama introduced the Grants for Moms initiative. The government hopes to entice more moms to go back to school with the incentive of earning a $5,000 award. There are many mothers who could benefit from the opportunity to earn an associate's, bachelor's or specialized degree. Moms have a lot of responsibility for their children and families, and the Obama education grants are an effort to give something back to them. Universities and junior colleges all around the country have worthy programs of study for all kinds of interests.
