Always keep in mind that fresh deals are created every few days, of course, but also know your own limitation in keeping up with the trends. What you would ideally want is a bargain that is not only affordably to you in the short-term but also long-term, which gives you TV, internet and phone suited to your current and future needs. However, if you have opted for a deal which lasts only a few months, do enquire about the renewal of the deal. If it is not renewable or is on limited availability only, ask your provider that is the next best deal to pick up after this. Do not be afraid to demand what you need! And be aware of the market of other providers too!

2.Affordability: No service provider should be extravagant. In this day and age, when there are hundreds of service providers literally, its is important that you demand to be given a deal which is affordable for the family. Remember this is not a one-time contract. The internet is not something that you can do without. You will be paying for the service every month, every six months or every year depending on what you choose. Economically it must be able to fit into your budget. Plan for this, and be upfront with the provider so they understand that you are not willing to spend more than a particular amount every month for the service.

3.Service Reliability: Just because you are tempted by the kind of deal the internet provider is offering, do not compromise on service. You may be able to find a very low cost, highly efficient provider but that is extremely improbable. Telecommunications providers cannot afford to be too expensive because there is so much competition in the market, so more often than not they will give you a good deal at low price. But if youre only concerned about how much money you spend, you may end up with an unreliable connection with several bugs, and bad customer service. Always remember, quality matters especially when it comes to communication.

4. Mobility: These days internet is not limited to a desktop or a laptop alone. We use it on our smartphones, we use it wired, wireless, on dongles, and on tablets. It is important that your service provider is able to give you service on any of these platforms. Not all platforms are open to this, but wired, wireless, and dongles are common. See what you work most commonly on and ask if net connection is available for that device.
