Office Designs Of A Cabin

Our company is into office interior design in a major way

. Recently we received a brief from a client of ours to redesign their office cabin. They wanted splashes of pastel colors to lighten up the space. The following is a description of what the end product looked like.

Well first start with the floor. We used 2 by 2 matt finished vitrified tiles in epoxy grouting for the floor. The floor gave a metallic look and suddenly added a depth to the place giving an industrial feel. The epoxy grouting helped in the durability enhancement of the floor and made sure each joint was sealed to the maximum. Now they were 3 partitions to be constructed. We made the partition opposite the directors table in dry wall. The partition was then painted lime green in a matt dull finish and a plasma TV was placed on the wall.

The left hand partition, which was the main divider, was made up primarily of 12mm toughened glass. It had a yellow 4 wide and 3 high skirting at the bottom and was recessed in the ceiling at the top. In the middle ran a 2 high band of yellow laminate pasted on a frame of wood and commercial board. The door in the partition too had a yellow laminate piece surrounding the handle in a rectangular form.

The wall behind the directors table was again dry wall and was of the same color as the first wall. On the right hand side were windows, which were covered using metallic blinds of an off white shade. The ceiling was left in plain gypsum and painted white. 4 rectangular encased tubes were used to light up the space.

The directors table was made with a 12 mm toughened glass top. The modesty panel of the table too has toughened glass and also has frosted film pasted on it in a strip design. While selecting office designs there was a great emphasis on glass tables thus the same was incorporated in the design. The table had a 3-drawer cabinet on the left side, which was covered in dark wenge laminate with a green tinge to it. The directors chair was in line with the theme and had a back and bottom cushion upholstered in dull lime green fabric.

The end result was a beautiful office cabin with splashes of pastel colors. Premium quality stainless steel hardware was used throughout in all fixtures. All chairs had a hydro tilt mechanism with a revolving base and adjustable heights. They were chosen for their ergonomic design. Telescopic channels used in the drawers hardware ensured the smooth functioning of the drawers at no noise levels. The height of the tabletop was about 8 higher than the drawer cabinet and the additional space proved to be of great use to keep regular use items.

A side credenza in wenge laminate was constructed later to provide further work and storage space. It was connected to the glass top via a 3 diameter stainless steel pipe. Ample power and networking sockets were provided to ensure proper workflow. The walls were accessorized with a few paintings and a vase was kept in the ledge to provide a lively feel to whole space.

The client was extremely satisfied with the end result and has since then given us many more projects to work on. Such is the importance of translating a clients brief properly.
