Most of the engineers overseas were NRIs; they have strong links with their family and friends in India, this helped a lot in outsourcing a good force of English speaking skilled technicians and engineers. With the high demand of efficient software engineers for the Y2K problem helped India to grow higher in the IT sector. In the twenty first century due to high domestic interest rates and inflation the increase in the wage in the IT sector was experienced up to 10-15%. In this way the foreign firms experience a lot of benefits from offshore outsourcing.

The firms who use offshore outsourcing get the befit of high speed data transfer electronically. The project team is skilled and flexible and can do work on a 24 X 7 basis. There will be no need to train the engineers and the cost of training is saved. The technology and softwares used are updated and latest. The cost difference is the main cause of off shoring because if you create an in-house department it will costs more. In this way the companies take the advantage of reducing the operation costs and generate more revenues.
