Oklahoma Sooners College Football Tickets And Seating Chart

The Oklahoma Sooners college football team is off to a good start this season with just a few more wins under their belt for the 2009 football year

. In Arlington, Texas, they started the season with a loss to BYU 14-13 but gave a good show during this away game. Idaho State wasn't able to do much with the ball against the Sooners and were shut out in this home game 64-0. Tulsa experienced the same fate and took back a loss 45-0.

It isn't often than you see a great team that can completely shut out their opponents but the Sooners did it twice in a row. Next, the Sooners went to Miami and the tables were turned but Miami barely squeezed out the victory with a one point win over the Sooners 21-20. Back on their own turf, the Sooners took down Baylor in a clear victory 33-7. A pattern of wins and losses seems to have developed where these away games for the Sooners are not as on point as the home games.

In Dallas, Texas against Texas, the Sooners suffered a loss 16-13 against Dallas. The pattern was broken however when the Sooners took to the road against Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas and they defeat Kansas on their own field 35-13. Fans and coaches as well as players themselves are optimistic and encouraged for this team's upcoming games both at home and away. For the balance of the 2009 schedule, the Sooners will take on Kansas State on October 31, Nebraska on November 7, Texas A&M on November 14, Texas Tech on November 21, Oklahoma State on November 28 and attend the Big 12 Championship on December 5. We will see how well they do at home as well as these exciting games on the road.

There are 12 different gates offering easy access to seating around this u-shaped facility. Gates 7 and 12 are for student entry. Those needing barrier free entry should use Gates 1 and 4. Visitors in the ASP Avenue parking facility can enter from the west side of the cathedral to reach designated seating. Press boxes are located on the west and offer many fine amenities including private restrooms and concessions. Oklahoma Memorial Stadium is easily accessible from the south (Dallas) on north I-35 or the north (Oklahoma City) on south I-35. Club seat holders and east side suite ticket holders can enter through Gate 10 for easy access to seating.

For those who don't mind the shuttle, there is free parking approximately one mile south of Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The shuttle is just $2 for round trip and reaches First Street, which is just one block from the stadium. Shuttle services runs for one hour after the end of the game. Guidelines on permissible items are quite clear and must be adhered to, including staying until the game is over unless there is a medical emergency to avoid not being allowed back into the cathedral.
