On Videos: Split/trim Your 3gp Files With 3gp Converter
Here I would like to talk about this topic from my own experience of playing and enjoying 3GP videos on my mobile phone Nokia 5230.
I have 6 media players installed on my PC: Windows Media Player, Real Player, QuickTime, Divx Player, Winamp and VLC Media Player. As a devoted video fan, I always download videos of all types like news video, fun video, stupid video or classic movie, etc. And I often play these types of media files: 3gp, wmv, avi, flv (video files downloaded from the video-hosting websites like YouTube, Yahoo Video, Google video, and others of this kind), mov as well as mpg/mpeg.
Among all the types of videos I like 3gp video most, since the small size of the video file saves my PC hard disk capacity and phone memory and I can play this type of video using my Nokia 5230.
I have been downloading 3gp videos, movies and TV series in 3gp format to watch on my phone all the time (except for the video enjoyment being limited to the 3gp format video file only). Video quality is OK for me including the audio. But I have one problem that my Nokia 5230 does not have fast forward or rewind, which means that I have to repeat a less than 2 hour video if I stopped watching and I was half way thru it. This is surely a big problem back for a light-hearted video enjoyment.

Well, not anymore now! I have found a solution, not fast forward or rewind, but split/trim the video! After searching the internet, I found a free software called Leawo Free 3GP Converter. Basically it is designed to convert all the popular formats of videos to 3GP/3G2 for video enjoyment on mobile phone. But one of its features is to split and join video clips. So with this 3gp converter program, I can not only split/trim the video for watching any part of the whole video freely, but also have more choice of the videos, never worrying about the video format discrepancy with the video conversion made by this 3GP Converter software.
This 3GP Converter program also has a Mac version for the Mac users: Mac 3GP Converter. So, no matter you are with Windows or Mac, just choose the right version for your own free video enjoyment.
Now with the help of this 3GP Converter, the only problem I have when watching videos using my phone is the battery life. lol lol lol lol..
