On the Road with Our Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Systems

My wife and I have been traveling the country every summer and autumn since I retired, which has been about three years now (my pension is terrific!). And in that time we have driven thousands of miles and met hundreds of friendly folks by the campfire--dozens, anyway. And we've had lots of fun. We especially enjoy barbecues under the stars and singing country-western duets in karaoke bars down South. One time, however, we stayed at a place--I will not say the name here--that was even cheaper than the places we usually stay at, and we stay at some pretty cheap places. Anyway, when we drank the water from our sink that afternoon we both got violently ill shortly afterwards and we lost almost a week from our itinerary. It was not long after that when I purchased one of the popular counter top reverse osmosis water systems for our RV. It was real small and it did not waste any space. Its being compact is good because our little RV is so over-packed as it is. This filter allows us to fill up water bottles when we go on our day-long sightseeing excursions, and keeps us cool in places like Amarillo, Texas, and Sarasota, Florida in July and August, no small feat that. It is quiet, too, and it does not give us any maintenance headaches. Now, we do not have any worries on the road. Well, we have one worry. That would be rattlesnakes in our boots, of course.
