One Month of Work Equals a Lifetime of Winning at the Horse Races

Are you tired of losing at the horse races? How many times have you gone to the horse races and lost money

? How many days, weeks, months, years? Have you learned anything? I know what some of you are thinking, "Yeah, I learned the horses can't be beat."

It is true that betting on horse races is a very tough way to make money. The vig is high and luck plays a big part in the game. Imagine if all that work you put into handicapping and trying to make money betting on horse had been a regular job and you got paid an hourly wage? Wouldn't that be nice?

Well no one can guarantee you that you will win when you wager on races. It is gambling, but there is one thing for sure, the people who do win consistently have figured something out. Now ask yourself this, "How did they figure out whatever it is that they know about horse races?" There are three possible answers.

1. Someone showed them a way to beat the races.

2. They accidentally stumbled upon a winning formula or system.

3. They studied the races and figured something out, they saw a pattern that kept repeating.

People who manage to eke out some kind of profit betting on horses don't do something new every day. They do the same thing over and over and it works enough to show a profit. Now let's think about how you can do the same thing. Do you know someone who makes a profit betting on horses who will teach you how to do it? If so you are very fortunate and don't have to read the rest of this horse racing article.

If you don't have someone to teach you, maybe you'll accidentally see something that is sure to make a profit. Have you managed to stumble upon a way to win? Let's face it, the chances of that are pretty slim. You might as well buy lottery tickets and keep your fingers crossed.

On the other hand, if you had kept accurate records all those times that you went to the race track and had the programs and past performances, you might be able to spot something that happens over and over in certain races. If you start handicapping the races each day for the next month and keep the results, you will have enough information to make some discoveries.

Look for patterns in workouts, odds, speed figures, class. Write them all down for each winner. There is no guarantee that you will find a formula that makes a profit, but you will have a much better chance than just waiting for someone to show you or for an idea to drop out of the sky.
