One random day of my life

August 30, 2010:
I read a multitude of stuff today. It includes Wikipedia pages, quite a few blogs, columns, websites and newspapers. I learnt many word meanings, some new phrases and got introduced to a few new terms (De facto, I got to know the phrases by racking my brains for a while.)
I began by reading about Nazism from Wikipedia, more precisely about its policies and Fascism which influenced it. Both Nazis and Fascists exuded that the other race is not in its sterling form due to intermixing of races. The two had a chalk and cheese' opinion of each other. The only points on which both were of the same view were the fact that the ancient Roman Empire consisted of pure Aryans and on racial issues. The other policies which Nazis practiced were militarism and anti- communism. They exploited the sentiments of irredentism' and revanchism' of the German people and opposing communism and class struggle. I got to know the terms fasces' and organicism'. Then I read a blog post on noenthuda about Bangalore bug', the subsequent outsourcing of most of the creamy layer of web designers and software engineers, mainly due to higher salaries provided, as a result of which the Indian market product quality is wanting. I am of the same view as Mr. Skimpy that the laudanum here will be to pay these smart people as much as the foreign companies. Also was a post about Pakistan loosely following the Madman theory, due to which India is not willing to spoil terrorists' party here. If this is the case, then I agree with the comment somebody posted which said about turning a handful of Pakistani young bulls towards the U.S.A.
Next I read via India Uncut a post which discussed the issue whether animals should be attributed beliefs. I couldn't gulp it completely, but tried to churn down whatever I read. It had, I think, precocious arguments both for and against the topic, which was the good part.
After this, I read an article written some days back by Mr. Mohit Satyanand how state government's policies and laws are derided by the upper class. He explains how the government land is enroached by the so called musclemen' and then the land or the plot is subsequently used by the bourgeois to erect their monuments'.
Next in the process was an old post by Rashmi Bansal's post on Youth Curry about the declining standards of customer services in India, including failed ATMs to non- availability of products of choice in supermarkets. I too had similar experiences.
This was followed by playing word association test on a blog. I think I could get through only one. But I came across many word associations that I previously didn't know.
Then I read the newspapers that had articles about the criteria of an administrator, China's attitude towards India and about the workers' strike in South Africa. Then there were articles written in open pages which I think had a bit primitive opinions about women discrimination. One point with which I agreed was the insinuation of this discrimination in the subconscious, so much so that it becomes like breathing, important but unnoticed. And there was an article by a retired Colonel about the degrading image and condition of the Indian military which needs immediate attention.
Finally, I read four poems by Rabindranath Tagore. Simple, lucid and touching.
Going to sleep now. Sayonara. Good night.
