Before I mastered online mlm network marketing, I always grew my organization using the old-school method of purchasing supposedly hot mlm leads from suppliers and then spending all day and evening calling those prospects on the phone. It got to the point that I almost felt like a second-rate telemarketer, calling and re-calling prospects until I finally connected with them.

Over the years, I got really good at it. I spent a lot of time training our team how to prospect over the phone. Even though I disliked the whole process, I got good results. In fact, in a prior company, I was recognized as one of the top enrollers in the company three years in a row, primarily from working purchased leads on the telephone.

It was expensive. It was really a grind. And in spite of all of the training we gave our team, it was very difficult to help inexperienced business partners do the same thing I was doing and stick at it until they had similar results. But it did work for me. And at the time, it was the most effective prospecting method I knew.

Now days, everythng has changed. Almost everyone I speak with is surprised to find out that I do NOT make lead calls any more. I do NOT make follow-up calls either. Because I really don't need to!

Now that I have mastered the Internet, the online mlm system I follow and the training we provide to our business partners has motivated leads telephoning us. Those are the only prospects I end up speaking with.
