Online Marketing Plan - Creating Content And Generating Traffic
Before you start doing anything with your internet business
, you need to make an online marketing plan. This doesn't need to be in depth. You just need to manage your hours so that you get as much done as is possible. This is even more important if you don't have much time to spare (because of a day job).
To drive traffic, you need to provide lots of quality content for free.
To start, you want to do some keyword research on your niche. Find the phrases that have fairly high global monthly searches and medium/low competition.
You then want to write your article and put in your keyword phrase around 3 times. You want a link to your sales page at the bottom of the article. This is when you create a video about the same phrase but link the video to the article. This puts your article nearer the top pages of Google and sends more traffic to your internet business.
This process should be repeated at least 80 times within your first 3 months.
After that first 3 month period has ended and you've got your articles and videos up, I usually then use article spinning software to create more versions of the articles I've written. So I can then spin 5 versions of each of my articles (I don't do more because I don't want to upset the search engines). I then use an article distributer to post these articles on the top sites and directories.
But the main part to all of this and why it is such a powerful online marketing plan is what I do next. When I create the 5 new spun versions of an article, I have all of them link back to the original article they were made from. This means my original article (probably posted on ezine or hubpages) will now have brilliant backlinks, making it rank higher.
You should also create an online marketing plan for medium to long term goals. Medium being about 6 months and long term being 2 or more years. Give your web business achievable goals.
Remember that you won't see results for anything up to the first 6 months. Don't get into this if you're desperate. Any online marketing business takes time to get going, there's no quick success. You must take massive action early and then be patient and allow your internet company to flourish.
