Online Marketing Success Comes To Those Who Finish Off

A common problem with those who have attempted and failed at online marketing is

that they persist in jumping ship, from one product to another, from one approach to another. One month it's PPC the next it is article marketing. One month it's list building the following it's social media. You've signed up to do the 30 Day Challenge - again - and then another "guru" launches another "must have" product.

The whole thing changes so fast in the businesss of web marketing it is hard to keep up and even harder to stay focussed for a long enough time to finish the projects you begin.

But, if you don't learn the habit of concluding what you start you're going to be forever frustrated and that IM life style you so desire will forever stay hard to pin down.

Chances are, if you have been around the online marketing block a few times, you will have already developed the idea that you aren't proficient at finishing tasks. And right there is a good place to begin.

The simplest way to modify the beliefs you have in relation to yourself is to transform the truth about you. And that's not as hard as it might sound. You just need to notice more and pay better attention to that which supports you.

To transform your belief about being a bad completer you need to start noticing where you actually do finish tasks and begin to put together a track record of the tasks you do complete.

Buy a note pad and put the date and "Things I Have Finished" at the top of the page. Then, as you go about your day make a note of all the tasks you have finished, both for work and personal life. Fill your list with small things in the beginning, as many as possible, so you are setting yourself up for success. E.g., five items on your list might be:

- finished keyword research for "internet marketing coach" phrase

- added a blog post to my web site

- wrote an article to submit to ezine articles

- cleared out 1 drawer in bathroom

- read a chapter of my book

At the end of each day read the list to yourself and record your success. You'll find that the more you notice the tasks you finish, the more confident you will become that you truly are a finisher. Then, 1 day, you will observe that the small steps have become a substantial completed project and your idea of yourself as someone who starts things but rarely completes them has been changed.
