Our Very Satisfying Experience with Speed Dating Washington DC

Speed Dating Washington DC is a blast! My friends and I decided to attend the Christian speed dating event because not only are we all Christian, but it's hard to meet Christian men of like-minded faith and values. This is not to say we won't marry out of our faith, but we definitely prefer to marry within it.

The event was hosted by Professionals in the City, a social networking site that holds hundreds of events and parties per year. We signed up online a week before and were so excited to go. We had never been to a local speed dating event, and when the time came to go we were all a little nervous. It was held at a beautiful restaurant, and upon our arrival we were greeted by a very professional staff member who gave us a name tag (first name only) and then walked us over to the bar to mingle with the others attending the event. We each had a glass of wine to relax us and before we knew it the speed dating began.

There was a special section cordoned off for just for Speed Dating Washington DC so we took our seats and were given instructions by a very lovely staff member. Each date would last for five minutes and then a whistle would be blown and the women would remain seated as the men rotated from table to table.

Since it is such a short amount of time you get for your speed dates we came prepared with questions that weren't the run-of-the-mill. There were two men that interested me and my friends had a couple as well. After the hour was up most everyone headed for the bar for more drinks and conversation. I got to speak at great length with one of men I liked and we exchanged email addresses and eventually made plans to attend another Pros in the City event together.

Speed Dating Washington DC gives people of all ages, religions, races, sexual preferences, and nationalities an opportunity to join together in one place and have several dates in one night. So if you don't meet a Christian at your first event try one of other speed dating events. Don't give up too quickly because there really is someone out there for everyone!
