Our need to see the Big Picture

Take the amazing and awe-inspiring experience of watching a state-of-the-art helicopter lift-off and ascend vertically upwards into the blue sky and virtually disappear from sight. Its an awesome experience of human capability demonstrated. Albeit, its not this tangible aspect that I am seeking to expound on, in this article, but, it's metaphorical context of a truly elevated point of view that offers us a view of the great big picture from the highest vantage point of thought; from the author of creation itself, using HIS allpervasive"Cosmic Intelligence".

We humans are collectively missing the great big picture, and our humble place in it - pushing our survival as a species over the edge. Yes, and its because we have failed, to soar up intellectually like a helicopter to see the big picture. We have failed to recognize the pivotal "Cosmic Intelligence" for what it is, the true awesome author of creation.We have certainly failed to elevate ourselves to the height of the pivotal "Cosmic Intelligence" - the author of all creation, who so beautifully used the language of DNA and Genetic Code to create the big picture, with all its harmony, diversity, class andawesome endlessness. Yes, we are wiping ourselves off the slate of creation, and yes, we are heading towards mass-extinction.

In just the last 15,000 years on this planet, a planet thats 5.45 billion years old , we have assumed it's creator to be many different smaller things and havebifurcatedthe pivotal "Cosmic Intelligence"into manydivisivereligions, religions that have failed to see the big picture - that we are all one big family huddled on a bluedingyon a great big cosmic sea. As such all venerable religions need to soar up to the high vantage point of the pivotal " CosmicIntelligence" My poem - from my book : A Handle on the "Crisis" - I pray will take us all, children of manyhonorablefaiths to the desired elevated point - so that we all, the children of the creator may safely ride on our blue dingy on a cosmic sea.
