As amazing as it may sound, outdoor publicity can sometimes prove itself more efficient than TV commercials. Let us analyze this from the following point of view. In order for a person to see a TV commercial, he or she first needs a TV set. Then, cable is also required. Last, but not least, one must have free time to watch TV. In the case of outdoor banners and panels, the same message is exposed to a lot more viewers repeatedly. People waiting in the bus stations will have plenty of minutes available to analyze the message of these prints which is in the full benefit of the advertised product.

Sometimes, the commercials are not even required to have a message. It could simply be a picture of the product and the price. Or maybe a suggestive image. It could also be a teasing message like "coming soon: the sweetest taste like you never experienced it". Outdoor advertising takes many shapes and sizes and it includes everything from the conventional posters and light panels from stickers on park benches. Despite of the efficiency of this advertising method, it is a lot cheaper than most other advertising options that a company has and when you are on a tight marketing budget you still have to find a way to deliver your message to the audience.

The outdoor panels located on the side of the road should be as close to the viewers as possible because there is the risk of that person not being able to read the message. You have to take various factors into consideration. Is the driver a man or a woman? Which is the average speed of driving a car in the area where my panel is placed? Does my panel need extra lighting? Do I want my panel to be visible at nighttime as well? These questions, and many more, need to be answered in order to figure out the ideal placement of your outdoor message.
