Morning Activity
The Falls Creek Falls trail is an easy four mile hike. The highlight is the amazing Falls Creek. The trail gently rises for a couple of miles through beautiful forest land. Perfect for hiking in most seasons, the trail is especially pretty in spring with loads of wildflowers and during the fall where there is plethora of multi-colored foliage as the leaves change color. On a warm summer day, the trail ends at a beautiful pool where you can cool down by taking a dip. No skinny dipping please!

Visit a gallery. Made In The Gorge at 108 Oak Street, Hood River, Oregon, 97031 is a collective made up of artists living in the Colombia Gorge area. Open daily, there is always an artist is residence to explain techniques and interpretation of the art on exhibit. On exhibit are watercolors, pottery, metal art,purses and bags and soap and bath products. It is a leisurely way to spend part of the afternoon and enjoy Oregon culture. All items are for sale.

Stonehenge Restaurant. A converted historic home, built in 1889 is the setting for a meal of fine dining. The restaurant is on the edge of town at 3405 Cascade Ave., Hood River, dotted with terraces to enjoy the peaceful evening. The home is nestled in old woods and the setting is wonderful. Inside the home is charming and luxurious and maintains the charm of life a century ago. This is the most romantic dining place in the area.

Next Day
After awakening, enjoy one of the best breakfasts in the area right at your Bed & Breakfast. After a leisurely second or even third cup of coffee, your 24 hours in Hood River is ending. However, you will still have an enjoyable scenic ride home.
