Overview On Stainless Steel Profiles And Stainless Steel Welding Wires

Since past many years, stainless steel has played an essential role in strengthening and empowering range of industries

. Starting from complex construction or architectural work to as simple as home appliances, electronics and computer peripherals to high-end automobiles, and many others; stainless steel has served as the base of almost every industry.

Apart from its highly durable capabilities such as staining and corrosion resistance, stainless steel also proves to be a cost effective solution and requires minimal maintenance costs.

Inevitable to say that the industries around the world are always demanding for solutions in stainless steel and stainless steel profiles. As a matter of fact, the demand of steel and its products has seen a lot of variation in a relatively short period of time. Industries are always seeking for highly durable profiles which can match their standards at the same time can offer them the quality solution. These profiles have played an important role in meeting the demand of almost every industry and have turned out to be a vital need of all.

Stainless steel profiles are available in various sizes, shapes, grades, compositions etc. based on the needs of the industries and applications. Stainless steel welding wires are one of the two main types of these profiles. Below is the brief overview on them.

Stainless Steel Welding Wires

Stainless steel welding wires, as the name states these wires are used for the purpose of welding and fabrications. As fabrication is the core functionality hence they are highly durable, corrosion resistant, rust free and sturdy. Stainless steel gas tungsten arc welding wires or TIG wires, metal inert gas arc welding wires or MIG wires, and submerged arc welding wires or SAW wires are the three main types of welding wires.

TIG Wires Gas tungsten arc welding wires or commonly known as TIG wires are the wires that are used in TIG welding process. TIG welding is a process in which metals are joined by producing heat with an arc between the work place and the non consumable tungsten electrode. The tungsten electrodes used in the process are the TIG wires.

MIG wires Metal inert arc gas welding wires or commonly known as MIG wires are the wires that are used in MIG welding process. In this welding process a continuous consumable shielded gas and wire electrode is fed with a welding gun. The wire electrodes used in the process are the MIG welding wires.

SAW wires Submerged arc welding wires or commonly known as SAW welding wires are the wires used during the SAW welding process. In SAW welding the metals are joined together by producing heat between the bare metal electrode and the work surface. SAW welding wires plays the role of bare metal electrode in this process.
