Packing of fragile items is a risky affair. It requires putting extra effort and care in packing fragile items safely. Arrange appropriate packing supplies:

Buy good quality packing supplies to pack fragile items. Buy packing supplies like cartons, wooden boxes, foam boxes, bubble wrapper, tissue paper, foam, plastic sheets, ropes, etc. Also arrange old newspaper and clothes for filling boxes. Also buy some modular cartons to pack such items.

Prepare the box/carton for packing:

It is very easy to pack items in modular boxes. It is just placing the items in the box and sealing the openings. Anybody can pack items in such boxes. But all items cannot be packed in modular boxes. You will need to pack them in normal boxes/ cartons. You need to prepare the box/carton to pack items inside. Paste the bottom opening of the carton with pasting tapes so that they cannot be opened in the mid way. Cushion the bottom portion of the carton with old newspaper, pieces of clothes, foam or tissue paper. Line the walls with tissue paper or bubble wrap. Now your boxes are prepared and you ca place the items inside to be packed.

Pack items safely:

-Wrap each item before placing them in carton. Prefer wrapping items with plain carton as printed cartons may spoil your valuable items. They can leave the print on the items.

-Keep heavier items at the bottom and lighter at the top. Try to adjust smaller items inside the bigger one. But do not leave space between them. They may collide and get damaged. Fill the extra space with foam, old newspaper, pieces of clothes or other items.

-Place all plates in one box. If the plates are chinaware or glassware, keep them in wooden boxes as they are heavy and cannot be packed safely in carton.

-Safely pack wall hangers, sceneries and other home dcor items. Use ample cushioning materials and appropriate cartons for packing such items.
