When sending any items through the post, you are clearly going to want them to get to their destination without any damage or breakages occurring. For this reason, it makes sense for you to properly package whatever it is you are sending. This not only means that you need to use the right packaging for your parcel delivery but also give the contents sufficient protection to ensure it does arrive in the condition that it is meant to.
Deciding on the packaging that you are going to use can play a big part in your items arriving safely. If you are sending smaller items such as CD's or DVD's then you should make sure that you protect them by using something such as a padded envelope to provide some cushioning. However, if you try to stuff larger items into a padded envelope then the envelope could burst or the product could still be damaged by any impact on it. When you need to send anything that is fairly large then you should be using cardboard boxes to package them in.
If you are sending your goods in a box then there are a number of things that you can do to ensure that they arrive in one piece. The first thing would be to give the right amount of protection to the contents of the box and this can be done by using bubble wrap or packing peanuts. By wrapping any fragile items up and making sure that they aren't rattling around the box, you can greatly reduce the chance of them being damaged. When you are packing your things you should try to make sure that the contents of the box are not directly touching the sides. If they are then there is a much higher risk of them being broken in the event of the box being dropped as they will get the full force of the impact.
Another method of making sure that your fragile parcel delivery arrives safely is by making it clear that it should be handled with care. If you just pack them into a box and send them on their way then who is to know that what is inside could be easily broken. If, on the other hand you put some fragile packaging tape onto the outside of the box then anybody who handles it will instantly know that they need to be more careful. This can be a great help because it acts as a visual safety precaution which can stop things from being mishandled.
