Be sure to incorporate plenty of water and herbal teas at this time as well but be sure to avoid sugar or artificial sweeteners. The aim of this exercise is to improve bowel efficiency so you are having regular bowel movements of at least once a day, or more ideally. Continue for about 10 days and once the bowels are regular you can concentrate on other areas.


Herbal supplements such as milk thistle work very well at cleansing the rest of the body and so do detox teas. Weekly salt baths also act as a very good aid to detoxing the body and most salts sold over the counter contain beneficial essential oils and vitamin supplements.

Whilst there are a great many detoxing resources and complex systems on sale on the internet and it is easy to spend a heap of money on such programmes, the truth is that it is best to work with your body and to do what feels right for you. Quite often all that is needed is plenty of water, fresh fruit and vegetables to correct the balance of natural hormones and toxins in your body. Remember, a healthy body is far less likely to develop disease or conditions such as painful ovarian cysts.
