1.You are eliminated when you get "marked" - This rule depends on the area you are playing. Some paintball venues allow up to three marks before you get eliminated. Consequently, wiping your marks is not allowed.

2.You cannot play unless you sign the waiver forms - These forms will release the institution from any liability in case you get into an accident or acquired injury. Don't worry, those are the negative extremes of playing this sport.

3.Make sure your gun passes the requirements - If you are bringing your own paintball gun, you will be required to test it for speed, velocity and other factors. You should comply with these requirements.

4.Never shoot outside of the field or match area- Vandalism is definitely not tolerated in paintball fields.

7.Your goggles should pass standards - If you have your own pair of goggles, it should be thick enough to be able to restrain paintballs from reaching your eyes.

8.Wear proper clothing and gear - Do not leave any part of your body exposed.

9.Never take off your mask or helmet during the match - Your mask protects your eyes, face and head from getting hit.

10.Do not change or alter the position of structures and obstacles - They were placed there to provide additional excitement. Do not move them to meet your own objectives.

One is that you should play with people you actually know. Another tip is to have fun and enjoy no matter what. You should remember that paintball is ultimately a game, and not a real killing spree event.
