The thorny issue of money especially as Paris is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Seek the more affordable shopping, dining and entertaining district of Paris if money is tight even when the call of the designer shops is strong. Bring along your Euros and dollars as well as credit and bank cards but not so much traveler's checks as these are not as popular as in other countries. ATMs are scattered across strategic places around the city but the surcharge if well worth saving for, say, a new pair of pants.

When it comes to clothes, you will want to pack more than your fair share of stylish clothes and shoes. Parisians are fashionable people, which is evident even in the way casual street clothes are defined. Just try to dress as smartly as you can lest you become mistaken for a hobo and be subjected to the Parisian fashion attitude.

Well, the clothes you can buy at one of the fashionable boutiques in the city but there are few important things that must be secured before going in. You must secure a travel insurance policy as well as get your vaccines, both of which will provide a measure of safety in a big city like Paris.
