Pair programming has been present since the early 1970s and it is only in the recent

Similarly another school of thought says that students found pair programming demanding and frustrating. On the other hand there have been situations where pair programming has appeared to be meaningful and engaging. There is yet another school of thought is of the opinion that Pair Programming is not always successful.

However research is the apt way for software developers to have a better idea about Pair Programming and its implications. This research therefore must be conducted in a systec and guided manner.
