One of the benefits of the AGV Sport Palomar two-piece suit is that it can be separated via a 360 degree zipper and the jacket and pants can be worn separately. This suit is definitely functional and comfortable, but it also provides great protection. The Palomar is constructed with 1.2 millimeter thick cowhide leather in the body, and 1.4 millimeter thick leather in high impact areas. To add to the protection against abrasion, the Palomar also features CE approved armor in the knees, shoulders, and elbows. Extra protection in the back is provided by a ten millimeter thick memory foam back protector. This two piece suit design makes this product perfect for street riders who desire the protection a leather racing suit offers, but the freedom a two piece suit offers. It is possible to ride all day with ultimate protection, and then easily unzip the suit and cool down when stopping for fuel, food, or sightseeing.

Leather suits can hot, heavy, and uncomfortable; but AGV Sports Group has engineered the Palomar two-piece leather suit to be comfortable and functional. The rider can stay cool in the Palomar due to air vents positioned in the front and rear of the jacket. Additional air is directed through the suit via perforated arm pit areas. If you ride in the summer you know how uncomfortable sweat can be around your head and neck area. To avoid this, the Palomar features moisture wicking neoprene in the collar and a portion of each cuff. Teramid Kevlar fabric is also used in the crotch, down to the knee, and also under and down the arms in order to provide ultimate comfort. To avoid binding and provide a great fit the AGVSPORT Palomar utilizes pleaded leather panels in multiple locations. The reflective piping around the aerodynamic hump in the back provides great visibility for those riders who are going to use this suit on the road. The AGV Sport Palomar two-piece jacket provides great protection, and at the same is comfortable and convenient to wear.
