Parcels Will Speed Around The World To Japan When A Leading Worldwide Courier Is Use
Efficiency is everything when it comes to dealing with Japanese businesses
, so when the chance arises to send goods to the country, nothing but the most reliable worldwide parcel delivery service will do.
The Japanese economy has become one of the most vibrant and fastest-growing in the world in recent times, based on industries which are among the most technologically-advanced anywhere. The country is a world leader in such important industries as shipbuilding, vehicle manufacture, electronics, machine tools, textiles and chemicals.
Such a global-scale industrial powerhouse is naturally a major target for companies of all sizes from around the world when they are looking to put their goods on show in the world market. Success here demands great attention to quality and reliability, as well as to the delivery methods and channels used.
Japan was the country which most epitomised the Asian tiger era of the 1980s and 1990s, with its businesses expanding at an incredible rate as investment in technological advances was made a top priority.
After a brief fall due to the worldwide economic downturn of 2008/9, Japanese industrial production has returned to the level last seen during the Asian tiger years, and for 2010 was estimated at more than 15 per cent.
The main downside to this massive industrial capacity is that the country relies on others for much of its energy needs. It is the worlds third biggest importer of both oil and natural gas, much of which comes from China.
Japan has been wedded to the free market economy for nearly 150 years, and in recent years, the government has suggested opening up the countrys agricultural and services sectors to greater competition.
However, the country is also struggling to come to terms with a major demographic shift, as the population ages and shrinks.
Its long-term challenges will not be helped by the massive earthquake and tsunami which struck the countrys northern island of Honshu in March 2011, and for the immediate period after this massive disaster, the Japanese economy is likely to struggle, due to the massive impact on the countrys industrial capacity, which needs substantial rebuilding.
Companies and organisations which are getting involved in the relief effort are, however, buoyed by the fact that Japan enjoys first-class worldwide communications, and that the infrastructure for carrying out deliveries in the areas least affected is modern and reliable. This will be of major benefit to the country as it embarks on the long and arduous rebuilding task which lies ahead.
