Parents Save Environment With Eco Disposable Nappies

Finding a disposable diaper that is environmentally friendly while at the same time

being able to protect a child's delicate underside, is parent's dreams come true. Eco disposable nappies are produced with a baby and toddler's healthy skin and well being in mind in addition to being good for Mother Earth. These types of diapers or nappies will keep the landfills free from the plastics often associated with the traditional disposable diapers.

Because parents want to be mindful of the earth, they are using reusable and cloth diapers more often. In addition, parent's don't want the chemicals associated with the disposable nappies on their babies or filling up the landfills where they will sit and not decompose for thousands of years because of the toxins contained within them.

Because they are made with a special formula of absorbent material like a non-bleached wood pulp, in addition to being produced without the harmful chemicals, disposable nappies and diapers are better for the landfills because they will decompose quicker and easier. This is a great step in helping to sustain planet earth by going green with eco friendly products for baby.

If an individual were to cut open an ordinary diaper, they would find that there are many little super absorbent crystals, namely acrylic acid polymer salts. These are not found in the newer nappies which are more absorbent; however there are better materials the manufacturer are weaving together in order to make the newer environmentally conscious nappies better for the planet and babies.

The environmentally friendly throwaway diapers are manufactured without any bleach so they will not pollute the land or waters during decomposition or during the making of the product. They are also constructed with fewer chemicals and toxins which help in the decomposition process as well as making them more economical because they are made with fewer ingredients.

Many of the green nappies contain no perfumes, latex, gels or perfumes so that a baby wearing this type of diaper is far more comfortable and will not have a rash on their bottom because they will be drier.

Baby nappies of the newer variety that help the environment could become heavier when a baby is wet and need to be changed a bit more but a parent will agree that it is worth the extra effort because the landfills will have more decomposing nappies in them than the older variety which contain more plastics and can average more than a thousand years to decompose.

When shopping for environmentally friendly nappies for a baby, parents should try to find ones that are at least made with 50 percent recycled materials and use chlorine free materials that could contain approximately 20 percent biodegradable absorbent core. This will help to save the planet from overflowing landfills and help a baby's bottom to stay drier longer and head off diaper rash.

Parents can teach their children about being environmentally conscious from an early age. By showing kids the right way to recycle and beginning their lives with eco disposable nappies they will grow up to be eco-friendly adults who care for the planet and will do their part to help maintain and preserve it.
