passive Gen 2 Survivor tag which can be read from distances of five to seven meters. This RFID tag is specially designed for returnable transit items. It is commonly used to track large valuable items and vehicles like construction parts, steel pipes and trucks in the petrochemical industry. This passive tag can be mounted on metal surface,which is usually an obstacle for the use of passive RFID tags.

This durable, ultra-high frequency Gen 2 RFID tag, model 116406, has a memory capacity of 96bits and uses an EPC compliant Impinj Monza chip. A 512bit EPC compliant NXP G2 chip is also available for selection. It has an IP68 protection rating and is encapsulated within a HIPS/ABS/PC case allowing for robust operation and a long life span in harsh environments. The requirements for high-speed tag reading are met through C1G2 protocol compliance.
