First check the power supply. Is at most of the existing main switch on the PC back on? Has the power outlet really juice? Is the power cable plugged in firmly at both ends? Unplug the computer for a minute completely from the current - you drag it from the cable.

If the power is not the reason, you open the PC case. Check all cables and connectors, including those that lead to the main board inside the computer and on the various devices. If the PC has been moved, or memory cards could have slipped out of the slots.
