Thatcher collaborates with Philippe Starck and design firm of Cullman & Kravis to design libraries that are really chic and out of this world.
Already, Thatcher has designed libraries for C-level executives,
entrepreneurs, commercial chains, companies like Ritz-Carlton, Marriot, W, Four Seasons, Kiehls retail, restaurants, hotels, yachts and more.
Thatcher not only designs the library, but also makes sure that the library is filled with books that suit the readers tastes. He personally chooses the books, and avoids controversial books on request. Book restorations and custom jackets would be done according to the era, and ancient and used books are treated separately.
Antique leather, modern leather, vellum, and custom printed jackets are some of the goodies that you could expect when you hire Thatcher for your library. In times like the one we are living in, everything is computerized, these luxurious libraries bring back a sense of nostalgia and old world charm.
