So much stress, so much work, and not so much as a holiday in sight

, not as often as we want them. Sometimes, you just need to make an excuse to take a break.

Galas and parties, such great excuses to plan a girls outing! When a fancy gathering or just a night on the town is on the schedule, there's no need to stress, just get your best girlfriends together and have a pamper date!

For starters, you'll need to go shopping. Who doesn't love spending money? So, pick the perfect outfit! If you and all your friends go shopping together, you can be sure none of you will be wearing the same thing that night (what an embarrassment!). You might want to get your colors done if you haven't already; it can help narrow the clothing choices.

After you have the clothes, check your jewelry. You probably won't have time or money to go to the jeweler to select a setting and the perfect loose diamonds to set into it. As much as those diamonds are sparkly, you probably have a great, matching necklace and earing set already.

So, friends, check; dress, check; jewelry, check. Next, make-up! There are a few options: Home makeovers are fun and intimate, or you can go to your favorite department store and get the makeup agents there to give you a cool makeover with new and daring colors. Who knows, you might even find something new to add to your makeup set!

Hair is another in or out of home choice. So, consider the amount you just spent on your dress, and maybe on makeup, and see if you want something fancy. Then again, it's likely that one of your girlfriends is an amazing amateur hair stylist and can fancy you up with loose diamonds pinned in your hair, or pearls or maybe just something simple like a perfect curl on those long bangs.

Now, you look beautiful. You might want to put a on a smile, though, because that will complete any look, and beautify every face. So, you're all ready and done! You and your pretty girl friends are ready for a night on the town, a birthday party or maybe you just want to walk down the streets of Las Vegas dressed your best. No matter what the occasion, it's a great idea to pamper yourself and spend a little time with your best girlfriends.
