Persevere In Our Dream And Goal Until Achieve Something

Abraham Lincoln lost job in 1832 which made him very heartbreaking and he made his

mind up to turn out to be a politician but what made things worse was that he failed the campaign for state senator. He suffered two big hits in a year which definitely made him upsetting. But he could not change the fact so he began to run a business but the company collapsed within a year, consequently he had to pay the debts for the company in the following 17 years which was really hardships. But he never bowed to the realism thus he participated in the campaign of state senator and he made it this time which made him feel that there was something hopeful in life.

He was engaged in 1835. But, life offered him a big hit once more, it was sorry that his fiancee died unfortunately a few months before the wedding. This was a moral blow that he was wholly fatigued both mentally and physically and he suffered from psychasthenia in 1836. Along with two years' relax, he felt much better and afterward he determined to run for the state parliament speaker but he failed once more. In 1843, he once again ran for the member of parliament and without expection he failed. In our view, life is so harsh to him. Although he tried scores of times and failed again and again, he never gave up which makes us look up to him so. Suppose that we are Abraham Lincoln, then what will we do when confronting with so many difficulties? Would we give up or stick to them? They are questions that worth thinking. At least, Lincoln did not give up and in 1846, he ran for the congressman once again and at last made it.

The time when in office passed quickly, two years were not a long period so it came to the election again and Lincoln would like to be reappointed consecutitively as he did the job superbly. However when the outcome appeared, he was shocked because he lost the chance. He lost the seat in the government and also a large number of money but nothing could stop his step towards success and he presented his application to government to be a land official nonetheless the application did not pass since the requirement for land official was strict such as excellent ability, superior intelligence and so on. Rome is not build in one day accordingly we should learn to bear the very hardships that life gives to us. And Lincoln did not admit defeat. In 1854, he ran for senator but failed, and two years later, he ran for the nomination of vice-president but was defeated by the opponent. The spirit of pursuing was showed perfectly in his cases. He took part in the campaign of senator again and result was the same. I even can not list another person who suffers so many difficulties, hence Lincon certainly deserves our respects. He never lost the hope of pursuing his dream and at last life gave him a big reward----the title of America president.

The ways towards victory is always not trouble-free as our life is not filled with roses but setbacks. However if we stick to our dream maybe we will be successful just like Abraham Lincoln. A similar story to him is the triumph of timberland company which is also very celebrated and successful nowadays in the world market. Timberland company wins a seat at the world market because of its hard work and the firmness. All well-known and successful cases present us that it is very vital for us to persevere in our dream or goal if we want to be successful.
