Discovering your core essence means identifying your area of expertise your USP. What is the USP? Its not something you can find inside the hard drive of your computer, mind you. Your USP means your unique selling proposal. It is something that you propose to offer to your target clients that makes you stand out from all the rest. So whats your USP? Whats your shops area of expertise?

By carrying your USP throughout your marketing activities would mean more chances of you becoming recognized and remembered. With so many choices out there for your target clients, it would benefit you more if your target audience can easily identify you and your products and services from the competition.
