Frog Mania is a free online pet game in which the player is required to catch the dragonflies spread across the background

. In the game there are 30 green lily pads, and a number of frogs on each pad. The frog character is positioned facing different directions; the goal of the player is to make the frog face the right direction so that the dragonfly can be caught.

When you click on a frog, it will shoot out its tongue. The tongue will touch another frog in the opposite side. When the tongue of the frog touches the other frog, he will stick out its tongue and turn around. If the tongue touches the face of the frog, the frog will not shoot out its tongue. Instead, it will just turn around with the back facing the frog that initially made the attempt. The purpose of making the frog shoot the tongue is to redirect the frogs to a different position so that the dragonfly can be caught. When you string together multiple frogs and successfully catch a dragonfly, you will be awarded with bonus points. For example, if you string 6 frogs together and the last frog in the string eats the dragonfly, you will be awarded with 6 bonus points.

The player must remain on the lookout for instances in which the frog is facing a dragonfly, at which point he must click on the frog to make him stick out his tongue. The frog's tongue will attempt to catch the dragonfly and eat it. If you successfully make a frog catch the dragonfly, you will be rewarded with some points. Each level will grant the player a total of 60 seconds to complete it. You can observe the remaining time and score on the left pane. If you fail to finish the level within 60 seconds, you will lose.

But this online pet game is not without its difficulties. There will be times in which the dragonfly is not actually facing the frog. In this instance, you have to click on a frog at random to catch the dragonfly. The frogs' tongue will touch the other nearby frogs. Eventually, one of the frogs will turn its back and become face to face with the dragonfly. The player will then have the opportunity to click on him and eat the dragonfly.

To enhance the level of enjoyment, this online pet game includes several levels. As the player works his way up by completing each level, so will the level of difficulty. In the first stage, the dragonfly will be easier to catch because it is located in front of the frog. In the advanced stages, the dragonflies will be nowhere near the frog, and harder to catch.

If you want to restart the game, you can press on the Restart button on the lower left corner. After you press the Restart button, the game will be restarted to stage 1 again. Frog Mania does not have any background music. However, there are sound effects when the frog's tongue touches another frog. You will also hear a sound effect when the frog catches the dragonfly and eats it.
