Pets on Vacation

As much as I love traveling, I love pets even more

. I'm especially fond of dogs, and my family owns two: a Portugese Water Dog and a Boxer mix (mixed with what? We have no idea). Whenever we go on vacation, however, it's always hard to leave our dogs behind. Of course, they get to stay in a nice boarding place, but it's not the same without them around. And inevitably, two or so days into the vacation, one of us will say how much we miss the dogs. There are some hotels for dogs out there, but they are few and far between. And the ones that do allow them? Well, they aren't usually of the highest quality anyway. So what's a dog loving family like ours to do? Also, many of these apartments probably have people living there who already have pets, so the chances that neighbors might be disturbed by the presence of a dog or some other pet is really much less than at a hotel.
