Philips MC235B Great sound and great price!
I had a Boze CD player for about 6 years, and it got to the point where it wouldn't play some of my old CDs or ones that I made on my computer, so I decided to replace it. I thought this Philips MC235B would be just OK, but I really like it, and the sound is great. I also like the sleek, modern look of it.

Great Sound, Nice Package!
Unlike some folks here, I have had my unit for over a year and I have zero problems with it. It plays everything I throw at it! The sound is great for such a small system - a nice bonus! I have always kept the unit together as I don't have that much room in my office, but it really sounds nice and can pump up the volume pretty high for its size. I really like this one, and if I ever need another shelf system, I hope this one is still available!

Nothing Wrong...Nothing Fantastic
I purchased this as a gift. Specifically the intended recipient wanted some sort of wall mounted music player. I've had the chance to see it in use since. The sound quality isn't going to blow you away. If you're a tech oriented person or music aficiando perhaps this isn't the system for you. If you just want to play some music and go about life this will work great. It is fairly sizeable, and not the lightest weight item around. The quality of the materials are generic. They don't make a statement either way and are best described as middle of the road. It does come with a completely flat, very small remote (2" by 4")which works fine. Personally I might have gone for a better sound quality and more modern appearance, but as a gift it went over very well.
The Packing Job was FANTASTIC though. Bubble wrap, foam, bagged, and boxed. There was no way it was going to arrive damaged. Very appreciative of that fact.

great system and very practical
I bought the stystem for my 15 year old as a Christmas gift and he loves it.It is a good size and the sound is just right. He did not mount it as he did not trust the mounting gear. It was easy for him to operate which makes it a plus.

Wonderful, happy with this system
I did a lot of research and finally I found this Mircrosystem.
I am very happy with it.
It has several features, sleepmode, timer, you can program lots of radiostations and the sound is fantastic.
Plus it is portable too, because it is not too big. And it looks fantastic too.
Also, I got it for 50% off here on amazon. I guess once in a while one is just lucky.
Since I have it, I use it everyday. In the morning it wakes me up at around 7am with my favorite radiostaion.
At night I use it for my Relaxation CD and it works wonderfully. Even if you wouldn't put it on sleepmode, it shuts itself off automatically which I find very comforting.
I am going to use this device when the baby arrives, so I can play her some music:-)
all in all superb quality. Very happy with it!

Great Mini System
Just recieved my system today. I found that the system has easy to understand instructions, even though you won't need them to connect the speakers. The sound quality is great for this type of system. I have a two bedroom apartment and it just what I was looking for as an audio system. I read some negative reviews about this systems, with the exception of the reviews that state the their system came broken, this is not a high power system it is a compact system for apartments/dorms. if I could describe this seller with only one adjective, I'd use "flawless"
First off, the delivery was fast. He did the most unexpected thing and messaged me letting me know that he was going to drop off the item for shipping, and one and a half a day later I got my package.
When it said "Grade A" items I was like...okay, sure, I'll humble you, but when it arrived I thought I got a new item with a price of a used one! The cover of my s. 1 Fraiser dvd was in pristine, mint condition, and I just can't wait to watch the episodes. If this user ever wants a groupie or ever sells more fraiser seasons (now I have 1 and 10), I'd be there in a heartbeat. Would I buy from this person again? Hell yes!
