The L189 is deliciously light at just over 100g, and has a high resolution camera with 1280 by 1024 pixels. Its a bar phone, which is always a good thing in my book. Flip and slide phones are just asking for trouble. Plus, its a lot harder to change the back cover of a flip phone.

This phone has a touch pad and handwriting input. Ive always liked this because it gives the cell phone a sentimental quality. Its almost like writing a note in my journal or notebook, and it makes sending text messages that much more personal.

Another thing I like about this phone is that it has Bluetooth, G Sensor and GPS, so it can help you find your way around. It can also help someone find you in case you get lost. All they have to do is synchronise their phone with yours and theyll know where you are at all times. Of course, this can be a bad thing if youre somewhere that youre not supposed to be.

In addition to FM, the phone has a scheduled FM recorder, which means you can programme it to record your favourite radio shows so you can listen to them later. It has other standard features like 5 alarm groups and a phonebook with up to 1000 contacts.
