Photo Magnets Make Unique Invitations And Announcements
My refrigerator is covered with magnets
My refrigerator is covered with magnets. In fact, it has so many magnets on it that you can"t open the door unless it is facing north. The FAA has designated the airspace over my house as a "no fly" zone because the magnetic field created by the layers of magnets wreak havoc with aircraft instruments. I actually can"t recall what color the door is, either. It is completely obscured by birthday invitation magnets, business advertisements, wedding announcement magnets, magnets with pictures of our kids"of our pets"and my motorcycles.
Let"s get real.
OK. I exaggerated a bit. There really isn"t a "no fly" zone.
My point is that refrigerator photo magnets are becoming more popular all the time. In our home, we use them instead of the typical, bland old invitations and announcements for different events. Last Christmas we had our family photograph printed on magnets and sent them instead of a Christmas card. We all know that Christmas cards get stuck in a box on the counter for about a month, and then they are relegated to a shelf in the pantry or tossed in the trash. Our family Christmas magnets are still on refrigerators all over the country and are being seen by friends and family, while everyone else"s cards are long gone.
Other uses.
When our twin boys" birthday was coming up, we opted to have the invitation printed on a 3.5" X 4" photo magnet. The boys handed them to their friends, and some of them we sent in the mail. Refrigerator style magnets are immediately stuck on the fridge (or computer case, filing cabinet at work, locker at school, etc.) and remain there to act as a constant reminder of the upcoming occasion. That"s the whole idea behind an invitation, isn"t it? To make sure the recipient remembers the time and date? Photo magnets are ideal for that purpose.
Business uses.
Businesses use them as advertisements, too. Stick your business logo on it, add your address and phone number, website address, and a brief description of your products or services, and you have a long lasting advertisement that will outlast any print or electronic message you pay for.
Where to find them.
Now"where do you get
photo magnets? Generally an on-line supplier is the best. Why? For one thing, there aren"t many "brick and mortar" stores that will let you design your own magnets. A vast majority is on-line. Another great advantage is if you can find an on-line supplier that allows you to design your own. Most on-line suppliers require that you send in a photo with an explanation of what you want printed with it. That beats driving across town to talk to someone in a store, but it can be even easier if you work with a website that lets you do it yourself. No more questions from the supplier, no constant sending of e-mails back and forth trying to clarify what you want, no hassle.
Find a good
on-line supplier of photo magnets and get started. They are perfect for family photos, graduation announcements, and invitations for parties, birthdays, confirmations, engagements, weddings, and so on. Your imagination is the only limit. Try them out. You won"t be disappointed.
