For many photography enthusiasts, having a dark room is one of the essentials to develop the photo films

. Although we are in the digital era, many still uses the dark room to produce photos they have captured. Unfortunately, dark rooms are just converted bathrooms or basement and even bigger closets these days. Nonetheless, inside their dark room are equipments needed in developing the photo film. Ceramic sinks are part of it and serve as holder of the special basin and chemicals used in the process. There are various chemicals involved in this tedious process so basins are needed so that spilling over will not happen. Ceramic sinks are essential to many photographers because of its endurance in the presence of chemicals. Unlike other type of sinks, it is not made up of steel wherein when chemicals are poured will produce rust or other reactions that may cause damage to the quality of their photo subjects and on the sink itself. This type of sink was used many centuries ago and is still widely used today. It is not prone to corrosion or rusting, easy to clean, and gives a smooth surface. These days, ceramic sinks are not confined to one form only. Manufacturers produced styles that can complement the different needs and perspective of their customers. It is also affordable, helping the budget on a minimal level. Along with its pros are also some cons. Ceramic sinks are prone to scratches. Once damaged with scratch, it can never come back to its original smooth surface again. But apart from this drawback, the advantages still outweigh its disadvantages.
