Photography Should Have Been Invented Before The Wheel

If the camera was invented before the wheel how would you imagine the world to be.For

a start we would not be paying such a stupid price for petrol and diesel, but that is beside the point.

Imagine if you will giant hairy men running around with Digital Cameras, clicking away at everything that comes into view while swinging their heavy club in the other hand trying to catch dinner for the wife and four starving kids back at the cave.He is lucky and manages to kill a poor little Dinosaur, well perhaps not so little. This he did without dropping his compact camera or getting blood on it for that matter, and he starts to drag it home.

Oh No !! you can hear him cry,I have to record my marvelous kill,he quickly positions the poor floppy animal to its best advantage and begins to click away only to find the light is fading and a descent shot is not possible without the use of his flashgun. He has his pop up,now no need to snigger, its the pop up flash on his compact camera that we are reffering to here, but the subject is so large it can't cope with the sheer volume.Flashguns Flashguns my kingdom for a flashgun,he wimpered to himself,oh well will have to make do the best I can.Lets build a fire to get better light.Another problem arises how do I collect enough wood to make a big enough fire for the purpose I need it for.I know I will get my cart out of the garage next to the cave.

So leaving everthing behind he runs home, sneaks by the wife and children who are crying with hunger, and the wife is muttering something about the ridiculous image making box thing her husband always carries about, opens the garage door quietly and grabs the handles of his cart.It won't budge, whats wrong now he hisses, things are getting worse, while inventing the camera he had put on hold inventing the wheel, thus no wheels on the cart, what a dilemma.

As you can see this is the problem of things being invented the wrong way round. If he now spends time on his blue print of the wheel,he will not be able to get a photograph of the dinosaur. If he runs round collecting wood with no means of transporting it,it will take to long and by this time the meat on the kill will have started to go bad.So he sits and ponders the latest set back caused by the order in which things should be invented.

A smart man, which he considered himself to be,would soon come up with an answer.Got it,he shouts, making his wife aware that her husband is near by,I will quickly invent the flashgun, take the photograph, drag the beast back here, cook it,fed the wife and kids.Job done, everything solved.

There is a moral some where in this stupid story, perhaps the order in which things happen, and have happened, have been done in the correct way to make the world as it is today.

Who Knows.Do you
