Physics games are a helpful aid to learning physics!

Physics is a tough subject to learn in high school. If you are like me, it is easier to learn with visual demonstrations rather than studying theory from books. Physics games are a new genre of online games which are modeled using real to life movement and physics theories. Not only do physics games provide an educational value, they are also very fun and addicting!

Online games are becoming more popular than ever with internet users. Several genres of online games including adventure, shooting, strategy, and card games have been created. Most online games are created solely for entertainment. Exercise your brain and study for your physics exam by playing physics games online!

Physics Games are noted by their realistic object movement physics and theories which are directly modeled into game play. Playing physics aren't just addicting and fun, but they will help improve many strategy skills including problem solving and critical thinking. Types of Physics Games you will find are ragdoll, object stacking games, demolition, construction, and cannon games.

One of my favorite games to play online is a physics game called Destructo Truck. In Desctructo Truck, you are given a gigantic ramp and a big rig truck. Your objective is to smash as many buildings in a row as you can by launching your truck as high and fast as possible to get maximum bounce. The more buildings you smash the more money you earn. With this money you can buy upgrades your truck like turbo rockets, stiffer chassis, give it a nudge, or extend your ramp. I have spent many afternoon breaks playing this game!

Doodle Physics is a classic example of a physics game. In Doodle Physics, your objective is to take the pieces given to you and balance them perfectly on the playing field without tilting and dropping all the pieces. You must use quite a bit of strategy and logic in order to figure out how to arrange each piece and in what order to arrange them in to move on to the next level. The first few levels may be easy, but they increase in difficulty! Doodle Physics is very challenging and is a must play physics game.

Another awesome physics based game to play is called Dummy Never Fails. The object of this game is to shoot a dummy out of the cannon and hit your goal. This game is not as easy as it looks! You must calculate angles correctly and strategically fire your dummy in order to hit your goal. Even if you fail, it is fun to watch the dummy flail powerlessly while bouncing off walls!
