The time is nearing when you will have to go on the hunt for your wife Xmas presents

. You will have to shop and think about what she would like and then vacillate when you cannot make up your mind. You want something special not the same old thing you do every year, right?

Going to the mall and shopping through the perfume, jewelry, and things for the ladies is not fun for you and probably daunting as well. Honestly, while those things are nice it does not impress her like something you think of yourself would do.

Everyone loves beautifully wrapped packages under the tree but it can get routine. So this year be spontaneous and decide to give her something that will last a long time. Give a moment, a feeling, and a memory that she can hold with her for a lifetime, not just through the holiday season.

You know your wife. You know what she likes and what she does not. You also know what she wishes for. So once you figure that out then that should be the focus of your gift. Confused?

Many women today have such full schedules with work, home life, and so they get little time to simply indulge themselves. That is a tremendous gift you can give. Create a coupon for a day to be alone. Fill a basket or bag with scented candles, chocolates, lovely smelling bath salts and some gossipy reading material. Then pick a day when you know she is free and set the scene.

She comes upstairs to a hot bath, steamy mirrors, a table with a glass of wine, chocolate, and magazines all laid out with a soft, fluffy towel waiting for her after her bath. Then you whisk the kids, dog, or whoever lives in your house away for the day. Give her the one thing she probably does not ask for but wants the most. Time alone.

Doing this means you have elevated your gift giving I. Q. You will earn many points with your wife because you have shown her that you are doing more than just buying her something you are foreseeing her needs and addressing those needs for her. That makes you a hero. This idea can be used no matter what she likes to do. If it is movies then get a stack of her favorite, make her some popcorn, put her favorite candy there, give the remote and leave for the day. The time she has will be graciously accepted.

Having the benefit of knowing and loving her means your wife Xmas presents will be cherished by her. Do not go the usual and boring route and instead give her something she would never return and will make her love you even more than she does now.
