Picking Out Your First Guitar

Choosing a perfect guitar is one of the best things you can do to make your music sessions more enjoyable

. But it often occurs that a beginner often fails to make the right choice. As there are different types of guitars available in the market and guitar manufacturers often offer their customers to choose from a wide range of models, beginners often find it difficult to decide which guitar will work best for them. Moreover if their budget is tight, they often tend to go for a guitar which they dont really enjoy to play and end up getting frustrated. So here I would like to give them some tips which I hope they will find very useful.

01.Which is the best guitar for you? Electric or Accoustic? If you are a beginner, I suggest you go for an electric guitar first. Or you may like to buy an electro-accoustic guitar to have the options to switch between both these two.

02. If you dont feel comfortable while playing a guitar, dont buy it. No matter how appealing it is to look at. Feel the weight of the guitar, play a few chords, place your hand around the neck of the guitar to make sure that it properly fits in your hands.

03.If your budget is tight, you need not to be worried too much because many renowned companies make some cheaper versions of their popular models so that guys who have small budget can have access to their finest guitars. So still you have a chance to rock on! And of course you can also buy a second hand instrument if you would like to avoid the cheaper versions of guitars.

04.Its a good idea to try out a similar instrument beforehand. You may like to try out a friends guitar to make sure that you have made yourself familiar with the instrument.

05.If you are buying a second-hand guitar, check and double check to make sure that the instrument is not faulty. Sometimes brand new guitars also become damaged while shipping.
