If you really want to take your golf game to the next level

, here is a key golfing tip: you must visualize properly. But it is more than just seeing things. It is a feeling things with your eyes.

Anyone who has played golf for awhile has heard of others using visualization to play better. And most of the time, it had to do with your "pre-shot routine." Probably the best known golfer to talk about this first was "The Golden Bear" or Jack Nicklaus. He would clearly see the shot shape, trajectory and even how the ball would react when landing before he made his swing.

He also practiced visualization when it came to putting. He was often questioned why he took so long while standing over a putt before taking his putter back. His answer was simple. " I never make the stroke until I know it's going in." He would be seeing it go in the hole constantly until he was convinced he'd hole it. This golfing tip alone is a golden nugget. Nicklaus wouldn't take the putter back until he felt it with his mind's eye. Very worthy to learn and emulate the best. Whatever your personal routine is, you want to commit to it like Jack did.

It is safe to say that every golfer who has reached an above average level of play uses some form of visualization. So if you're not doing this yet, start your own routine the next time you go to the practice range or putting green. Do like Jack does. See your complete shot from start to finish. Watch the ball move toward its intended landing spot. See the dimples on the white cover. Don't finish your visualization until it comes to absolute dead stopright where you want it.

Visualization is a golfing tip you simply can't close your eyes to.
