Ping G15 Driver Comes Out As The Real Winner

I'm a mid-high handicapper with a SS of 86

I'm a mid-high handicapper with a SS of 86. I decided to get fitted for a driver, and the Ping G15 Driver came out the winner over Taylormade, Callaway and Cobra. I went with G15 Driver because of their reputation for making the most forgiving clubs. I always wanted Pings so I bought a set of Ping G15 Irons, a driver, and a hybrid. I went with a 10.5 Serrano shaft in regular flex. It has a great feel to it and makes a distinct sound. This club is especially forgiving and for those of us who need that extra forgiveness but still want more control than the typical game improvement set these are a rock solid choice.

On the range, I found the longer shaft length took some adjustment, but once I figured it out. Greatly reduced by "fade/slice" with a mid trajectory ball flight and more roll out than I had been getting. I probably gained 20 yards over my previous driver, and hope this trend continues as I continue to work on my swing. The Ping G15 Driver felt great when I did my job, but even on mishits I was getting more distance than I was used to. I am very happy with the G15 and expect to have it in my bag for quite some time.

It was incredibly forgiving on the ones that I just missed, and yet I still got feedback telling me that I didn't hit it right. I could not have been more impressed by Ping at this point in time. I've played their drivers in the past, and was relatively impressed. The G15 is whole new level of quality. I had experienced the Taylormade R11 and Titleist 910. I think the Titlesit is okay, just not very forgiving or long. The TaylorMade R11 Driver continues Taylormade's long history (in case you're new to golf) of gimmicks coupled with good marketing. The G15 takes all the guess work out of your buying decision. Ping has another winner with this driver.

A larger face comes to optimize ball speed and provide consistency across the entire hitting surface. Premium graphite shaft of the Ping G15 Driver utilizes high balance point technology, which allows our engineers to increase the head mass approximately 5 grams without increasing swing weight or overall club weight so the players club head speed is not affected. This results in higher ball speeds and increased MOI which yield longer and straighter drives.
