In 1983, a pizza package saver was invented. The man behind the invention was Carmela Vitale of Dix hills New Yorke. The package saver is circular in shape. The early forms of pizza were in the form of Focaccia as we know in modern times. Pizza was introduced in United States by Italian immigrants and the first Pizzeria in New York city was opened in 1896. The popularity of Pizza increased. The first Pizza to be frozen was marketed by the Celentano brothers and this was way back in 1957.
