Lake Banyoles:

This Lake is located in the province of Catalonia near the Iberian Peninsula. It is just about 17 kilometers from Girona. Fageda d'en Jorda:

Just near the famous Costa Brava, this national park is most popular amongst tourists. It is popular for its most imposing natural beauty, greenery all around and abundance of beech wood trees. At the backdrop is the famous Croscat Volcano which silently emits lava. In fact Fageda is considered to be the best place to enjoy the volcanic beauty. This 12000 hectares of national park is also the home for a lot of wildlife. Those who are interested can go cycling or horse riding and there are identified places for such exercises. Taking the help of tourist guides is strongly advised because it is also a wildlife reserve.

Besalu:

A brief history of Besalu near the costa Brava goes on like this: it was a town ruled by a dynasty of Wilfred for over 200 years. Located in the midst of Fluvill and Capellada, this town was declared National Historic Monument in 1966. This is one of the towns which have the most beautiful landscape around. It also has many buildings, churches and monasteries built in traditional Gothic Architecture. Every Tuesday, fruits and flowers are sold and the entire town turns into a market place.
