Its (I believe) the single most frequented historical sight in all of the USA. Its stands as a reminder of the country's historical resilience and brave resistance to anyone infringing upon its freedom. This particular site, the Alamo, is where a few brave Texans successfully held back many invading Mexican armies.

What's next? Where do we go from here? Well, the very next step, in order of importance is the river walk. After those history lessons, you can take a long stroll on the river walk, take a boat-ride along, or simply do some dining and shopping. And that's not all! The river-walk is actually filled with bars and clubs, if you want to have a blast at night. This part of the city is actually famous for its entertainment and lifestyle. So you get two-in-one here. At the day, you get plenty of cool daytime activities, and then at night, it transforms into a fun nightlife location.

The experience here is so good, its not uncommon to see groups of people coming here out of state to enjoy the experience. The nightlife here, can only be said to be outmatched by something like Las Vegas. Otherwise, you're bound to enjoy this completely in all its glory. The best part about the river-walk night life? You're walking distance away from the best hotels in town! So you can just saunter back to your hotel room after a fun night out.
