Plan Now For The Upcoming Labor Day Celebrations In Branson

Labor Day is just around the corner! Branson knows how to celebrate the summer coming to a close with several different parties for the community

. If you missed your chance to make it over this summer, now is your chance to get it planned and get over there.

The festivities begin on Sunday, September 2, 2012 and give you a choice of three places to enjoy the festivities at.

The Chateau on the Lake has a weekend full of fun for all with their Backyard BBQ Buffet and some of that live entertainment that Branson is known for and then to top off the night with their traditional fireworks display. It is always a memorable night and many who go one year, come back again the next. Reservations are needed and the whole family is welcome.

The Big Cedar Lodge puts on their affair and kicks it off at 3pm on Sunday, September 2, 2012 on the Swimmin Hole Lawn with contests and attractions, pony rides, games, and food with all you can play wristbands available for purchase. Later in the evening, the Clay Self Band will perform on the Swimmin Hole lawn at 7pm and a fireworks show beginning at dusk. This event is open to the public as well as guests to the lodge. Reservations may be needed, contact the lodge for more information.

Branson Landing, a fairly new shopping area to the city, has made it a traditional happening there to put on a charitable function for their Labor Day celebration. They begin with an 80s cover band called Members Only opening at 5:30pm on Sunday, September 2, 2012, with a concert that will truly speak to many of us adults who grew up in the 1980s. Many will not be able to help themselves and will be tapping their feet to the beat or singing along.

From 6pm to 10pm, they will be having the Show of Strength with Members Only and Chain Reaction (a Journey Tribute Band). This features the Take a Seat, Take a Stand against Muscular Dystrophy, which affects over 800 families in the Ozarks. For just $10, you can reserve your own seat to watch the shows and then also be there when the fireworks show stuns the crowd. All the proceeds for the event go to the MDA so they can help the families who need them.

All of these events are amazing fun for everyone and are very traditional there in Branson. Reserve you and your family one of the many Branson cabins and prepare to celebrate a holiday you may not have ever thought to celebrate before. Get those bags packed up, the vacation requests made and decide if you are bringing the kids along too! These are family friendly events, you know. But dont forget to make the necessary reservations and purchases! Maybe Labor Day isnt just a day off at work. Maybe it is something special to someone else so go be a part of their fun!
